Rosehip Oil

Nature's Regenerating Botanical Oil

Rosehip Oil is a nutrient-rich botanical oil treasured for its ability to nourish, soften and revitalise the skin. Naturally rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, it helps support a healthy-looking complexion while leaving the skin feeling smooth, hydrated and radiant.

Quick Facts

🌿 Plant-Derived Botanical Oil

✨ Naturally Rich in Essential Fatty Acids

💧 Supports Healthy-Looking Skin

💚 Suitable for Most Skin Types

What is Rosehip Oil?

Rosehip Oil is extracted from the tiny seeds found inside the fruit (known as the rosehip) of wild rose plants, most commonly Rosa canina. Unlike rose essential oil, which is distilled from rose petals, Rosehip Oil comes from the fruit's seeds and is naturally rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants.

Its lightweight texture absorbs beautifully into the skin, making it a favourite ingredient in skincare products designed to nourish and support a healthy-looking complexion.

Why Bloom Chose It

remarkable skincare ingredients.

Rosehip Oil perfectly reflects our philosophy of creating gentle, effective formulations using carefully selected botanical oils. Its nourishing profile and lightweight feel make it a beautiful addition to products designed to support soft, radiant-looking skin.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Rosehip Oil suitable for oily skin?

Yes. Although it is a nourishing botanical oil, Rosehip Oil is lightweight and fast absorbing, making it suitable for many different skin types.

Does Rosehip Oil smell like roses?

No. Because it is pressed from the seeds inside the rosehip fruit rather than distilled from rose petals, Rosehip Oil has a naturally earthy aroma rather than a floral rose fragrance.

Why does Bloom use Rosehip Oil?

We chose Rosehip Oil because it delivers lightweight nourishment while complementing the other carefully selected botanical ingredients in our formulations. It helps support skin that looks healthy, soft and naturally radiant.
